It is October 28th, 2009. Mrs. Pryor, Ms. McCory and Mr. Fort are discussing what to do about their new wikipage. Finally, the moment of clarity has arrived.

It was discussed who would be new mentor next year.
Mrs. McCoy agreed to be my new mentor.

I asked to join the wiki MentosandInductees.
In creating the wikipage, I created a new password and username.
I then created my new wikipage name and added a tab.

I then added comments about what I was doing this day, such as:

Are we required to meet offline or can we meet at the IU?

What are we suposed to do this evening? We are to create an experimental wikipage.



Today is November 16th, 2009. Mrs. Pryor and I are gathered around the computer for our twice-annual mentor/mentee logs. I am a second year worker with the IU. Today, we discussed many things pertaining to the induction portfolio. Mrs. Pryor brought a sample of a portfolio to serve as a guide for me to make my paper portfolio. I asked her several questions related to the portfolio, including, but not limited to: whether student work should be typed on the portfolio or not, whether all teacher observation evaluation forms are to be included, questions about the exact nature of an executive statement, and other possibilities for portfolio categories. We also discussed but had not yet arrived at a decision as to who my mentor next year should be. Finally, we also talked about finishing the mentor logs early since Mrs. Pryor's retirement is impending.
